The "Moonbeam" Black Label theme will be available on the 2025 Aviator crossover. This is a preproduction model.
Lincoln is celebrating its top-end Black Label trim's 10th anniversary -- and the October supermoon -- with a new lunar-themed offering.
The brand said its "Moonbeam" Black Label theme, available on the 2025 Aviator crossover, was inspired by space travel and "evokes a sense of aspiration, enlightenment, and the transformative power of exploration."
It features a new light green color, accented with dark green piping, meant to mimic the moon's glow. It also includes light green leather seats with a perforated leather design "inspired by a shooting star trail" and a laser-engraved applique featuring a pattern that looks like the moon's surface.
It's the 19th Black Label theme since the trim's introduction many moons ago.
"From its inception, Lincoln Black Label has been a differentiator for the brand with meticulous design elements and elevated services only accessible with Lincoln Black Label," Megan McKenzie, head of U.S. marketing, said in a statement. "These specially designed interior themes and experiences are inspired by the love of travel, the arts, culture, architecture, and more, representing the very best of Lincoln and elevating the ownership experience."
Lincoln said more than 13 percent of its total utility sales through the third quarter were Black Label versions of the Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator.
Customers who purchase a Black Label vehicle receive a number of perks including standard premium maintenance, unlimited car washes and "premium experiences" through Lincoln's hospitality network. Lincoln said 164 stores in the U.S. are Black Label-certified.
