At 12:55 a.m. Nov. 26, police received a 911 call from Swenson's Drive-In restaurant, 14510 Cedar Road, stating that a DoorDash driver was making threats against staff.
A caller from Swenson's indicated that the male had a firearm and that he left in a van heading eastbound on Cedar Road.
An officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. It was determined that no weapons were involved.
Information was gathered and the 48-year-old Lyndhurst man was trespassed from returning to Swenson's.
Attempted auto theft: John Carroll Boulevard
At 10:45 a.m. Nov. 26, police responded to a report of an attempted theft of a John Carroll University student's car.
The 2023 Kia was parked on the west side of campus, near the loading dock parking lot, 1 John Carroll Blvd. Damage to the car occurred sometime during the previous few days.
Evidence was collected and an investigation was initiated.
Disturbance: South Taylor Road
At 7:05 p.m. Nov. 26, officers responded to the Ohio BMV office at 2173 S. Taylor Road on a report of a male who was behaving erratically.
During the course of the investigation it was found that there was a verbal altercation between the male customer and an employee.
Police trespassed the 33-year-old Cleveland Heights man.
OVI: Lee Road
At 2:15 a.m. Nov. 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a speeding vehicle at Lee and Cedar roads.
The registered owner/driver, a South Euclid woman, 40, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for OVI.
Police processed and released the woman on a personal bond and assigned her a mandatory court date.
Traffic offense: Warrensville Center Road
At 10:45 a.m. Nov. 26, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to a registration violation.
During the course of the investigation, it was found that the driver, a Cleveland man, 30, did not have a valid driver's license.
Police impounded the car and cited the driver for driving without a license.
