After the loss of the first replacement tree planted in the median on North Main Avenue, perhaps due to extreme heat, a second tree planting took place Saturday, October 19th. Current weather conditions, while still warm, are not so extreme. The Save our Forest team did their due diligence in selecting the tree before the planting crew showed up optimistically ready to do it all again.
