The boys of Lake Region Union High School met some scrappy competition Saturday as they faced off against the Missisquoi Valley Union High School Thunderbirds. The match was a night of back and forth from start to finish with the Rangers putting in play an amazing early offense. The second half though found Lake Region facing a renewed opponent that, in the end, was able to best the home team.
In the first half, the Rangers seemed to have the game locked down. Senior point guard Owen Rogers and senior shooting guard Bronson Smith were each able to sink shots from behind the three-point line. ..
