REPORT: Malik Willis Expected to Start Sunday vs Titans

Jordan Love practiced all week.

He was listed as questionable when the Green Bay Packers' final injury report was filed on Friday afternoon.

Last week the Packers elevated Sean Clifford to the active roster from the practice squad. When they did that, Love was downgraded to doubtful shortly thereafter.

He was not downgraded to doubtful this week, but it looks like it is, in fact, doubtful that he suits up and plays this week.

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report that Love will likely be sidelined again this week when the Packers invade Nashville to take on the Titans.

Both reporters pointed out that Love has not been ruled out of yet, leaving a glimmer of hope that the team's franchise quarterback will be able to play, but the overwhelming likelihood at this point is Malik Willis gets a chance at revenge.

Willis was with the Titans through training camp, but was traded to the Packers after the team decided they were going with Mason Rudolph behind starter Will Levis.

Despite getting dumped for next-to-nothing, Willis does not look at Sunday's game as an opportunity to play with a chip on his shoulder.

"I could care less, bro." Willis told the Green Bay media.

"I think I got paid the whole time I was there. I'm more than blessed for the opportunity they've given me. They brought me into this league, whether those guys are there or not. That organization, they took a shot on me. Miss Amy, they (did) great job by me, for all I'm concerned."

Whether it's a revenge game in Willis' eyes or not, the likelihood is the Titans will make him do more than the Colts did a week ago.

WIllis was asked to manage the game a week ago, with Josh Jacobs and the Packers' dynamic run game carrying the load.

The result was 53 runs for 267 yards, and most importantly from the team's point of view, a win for the Packers.

Jeffery Simmons boldly proclaimed, "Nobody runs on the Tennessee Titans."

Early in the season, that's been mostly true. Breece Hall and D'Andre Swift were both held to well below their career averages against the Titans' stingy defense.

The difficult part for Green Bay is that it's been difficult to move the ball through the air against the Titans as well.

Tennessee's defense will be a tougher challenge. It would have been a tough challenge with Love under center.

It appears the Packers will have to wait at least another week to see that again.
