PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A man has serious injuries after being shot on Thursday night near Northwest 8th Avenue, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Officers responded to a call of someone shot and found a man with serious injuries from a gunshot wound.
First aid was given to the victim who was taken to a hospital. His injuries are serious but he is expected to survive.

During the investigation, Northwest 8th Avenue is closed between Northwest Couch and Davis Streets.
