College football rankings: SEC teams in updated Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 after Week 10

The SEC saw some of its top teams on a bye week, but that didn't stop it from seeing an exciting Week 10.

Florida vs. Georgia was the highlight of the early slate of games, with the Gators hanging with the Bulldogs all game in what ended up being a 34-20 win for Georgia. Kirby Smart's team, which entered this week as the No. 2 team in the country, saw Carson Beck struggle with three interceptions despite throwing for 309 yards and two touchdowns.

But perhaps no game had bigger repercussions on the SEC and College Football Playoff races than South Carolina's shocking 44-20 upset over No. 11 Texas A&M. The Aggies, fresh off a resounding victory over a top-10 LSU team in Week 9, had no answer for the Gamecocks. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers completed 13 of 27 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns, adding 15 rushes for 106 yards (7.1 yards per carry) and another score.

Elsewhere, Tennessee likely got more than it bargained for in a 28-18 home victory over Kentucky. The Vols prevailed 28-18 in a game that Kentucky close that gap, 21-18, at the start of the fourth quarter. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava was solid in the win, completing 28 of 38 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown.

On the lower end of the top 25, No. 18 Ole Miss completely dismantled Arkansas 63-31. Texas, Alabama and LSU, meanwhile, were on bye weeks as the latter two schools prepare for a pivotal showdown in Death Valley next week.

This section will be updated once the US LBM Coaches Poll is released on Sunday.
