ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. -- Family and authorities are looking for a missing 19-year-old last seen in Rockdale County on Friday.
According to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office, a Mattie's Call has been issued for 19-year-old Bilal Muhammad.
He was last seen Friday, Jan. 24, running eastbound on Alexanders Lake Road around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. This is around the 2500 block of New Lake Road. The sheriff's office said that the 19-year-old is known to have bipolar and schizophrenia.
Authorities said he was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black sweatpants with three white stripes on the side and brown boots. He is described to be 5-foot-10 and 135 pounds. He has black hair in three plaits, two on the sides and one in the back, the sheriff's office said.
A flyer provided by a family member describes how the teenager disappeared from his job site after experiencing a mental health crisis. A photo also provided by the family from that evening shows Muhammad in the clothing he was last seen in. The clothing may also have paint stains, according to the flyer.
