The largest specialty cake company in the U.S. has come to Woodbridge.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, which sells sculpted Bundt cakes in various sizes, opened in late January at 869 Saint Georges Ave.

And this weekend it will celebrate its Woodbridge arrival with a slew of discounts and giveaways.

The first 50 people 18 and older at the store when it opens at 9 a.m. Saturday will receive a personal-sized Bundt cake each month for the next year. A ribbon cutting with Mayor John McCormac and the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce will be held at 1 p.m.

The first customers 18 and older at the store when it opens at 10 a.m. Sunday will receive free confetti-flavored personal-sized Bundt cakes while supplies last.

Plus, Friday through Sunday health care workers, town and school employees, first responders and military members will receive 20% off their in-store purchases.

The Woodbridge store is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Cakes are baked daily with real eggs, butter and cream cheese in 40 designs and 10 flavors. Bundt cakes come in sizes such as cupcake-sized Bundtinis, personal-sized Bundtlets and 8- and 10-inch bundt cakes.

The Woodbridge store is owned by Hansraj Agrawal, who also owns the Middletown location.

"Nothing Bundt Cakes is similar to Woodbridge in that we pair the nostalgic love for Bundt cakes with a modern feel, just as this township joins its deep history together with all the conveniences, amenities and innovation of today," he said.

Founded in 1997, Dallas-based Nothing Bundt Cakes has more than 660 bakeries in 40 states and Canada.
