U.S. Open quarterfinalist and former world No. 2 Paula Badosa will return to play in the Credit One Charleston Open for the fifth consecutive year, joining top 10 players Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro in the field for the March 29-April 6, 2025, on Daniel Island.

The 26-year-old Spaniard is currently ranked No. 14, having risen from No. 100 in May after a season-ending injury sustained in 2023. She will compete alongside No. 4 Pegula and No. 8 Navarro of Charleston at Credit One Stadium in the largest women's only tournament in North America.

Badosa captured her fourth career title at the DC Open in August. From June to October, she showcased consistent results, reaching the quarterfinals in Bad Homburg and the U.S. Open, advancing to the semifinals in Cincinnati, Beijing, and Ningbo, and making it to the fourth round at Wimbledon.

"We're excited to welcome Paula Badosa back to the Credit One Charleston Open. She joins a fantastic lineup of talent for next year's tournament, showcasing the best of women's tennis," said Bob Moran, president of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. "Paula's remarkable journey this season has captured the hearts of fans, and we look forward to seeing her in action again in Charleston."

The 2025 Credit One Charleston Open will mark Badosa's fifth appearance in the tournament, where she holds a 9-4 match record. She reached the semifinals in 2021 and the quarterfinals in 2022 and 2023.
