Blink-182 is decades into their time together, and things are only getting bigger and better for the pop-punk kings. The band manages the best week of their career on multiple charts in the U.K., as fans push many of their newest tracks onto a pair of rankings.
The Grammy-nominated group debuts half a dozen songs on two different lists across the pond this frame. All six tunes were recently released, and the band's following rushed to not just hear them, but purchase them, in an effort to support the rockers.
This week, Blink-182 debuts six tracks featured on the deluxe edition of their latest album One More Time...-now titled One More Time... Part 2-on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts. The performance of each song varies slightly between the rankings, but it's clear that listeners have favorites from the just-shared collection of new material.
"Take Me In" is the biggest hit of the bunch. This week, the tune opens at No. 58 on the Official Singles Sales list, and one rung lower on the Official Singles Downloads chart. Next up is "Can't Go Back," which manages a mirrored showing, just 10 slots lower on both tallies.
Every Other Weekend" and "If You Ever Left" sit side by side on the two rankings. The former track begins its time on the Official Singles Sales list at No. 73 and at No. 72 on the Official Singles Downloads roster. "If You Ever Left" is one space behind its closest competitor on those charts.
Both "One Night Stand" and "Everyone Everywhere" debut lowest among the six new hits. "One Night Stand" starts at No. 81 on the Official Singles Sales chart and No. 79 on the Official Singles Downloads ranking. Meanwhile, "Everyone Everywhere" is new at Nos. 84 and 82 on those tallies, respectively.
Throughout their many years as a trio-with a few member swaps here and there-Blink-182 has scored 16 hits on the Official Singles Sales chart, and just one more on the Official Singles Downloads roster. Six of those are added to their totals this week alone, making it an incredibly important frame for the band.
Of course, Blink-182's One More Time... is also improving its standing, thanks to the deluxe reissue. The set reappears on three charts in the U.K. this week, though it's credited as the original, with no name change posted. One More Time... is back on the Official Albums Sales (No. 89), Official Album Downloads (No. 15), and the Official Rock & Metal Albums (No. 13) rankings this period.
