Confession: I've never been able to complete my Christmas gift shopping without buying a few items for myself as well. But who could blame me? Not only am I shopping for friends with similar interests and tastes, but with the amount of deals this time of year, it's pretty much impossible to resist.
My most recent shopping adventure took me to Kate Spade Outlet, where I planned on scoring a great deal on exactly one item -- and ended up picking out nine others for myself. The brand has discounted hundreds of items ahead of Black Friday, including handbags, clothing, jewelry, and even a set of adorable holiday glasses I simply have to have.
I've tried multiple times to downsize my handbag and just carry a wristlet, but I always go back to a large bag and tiny wallet. This Madison slim card holder not only looks perfect for me, but it's also marked down by 67 percent and comes in four colors. At $29, I may even grab two and swap out with the seasons, like Daffodil in the spring and Blackberry Preserves in the fall.
This is a pricey pick, but it's also 50 percent off. The down parka in cherry pink is absolutely adorable and would make a great addition to my closet as we move closer to winter. The coat is nearly knee-length and has a Sherpa lining and a fox-trimmed hood. It even has zippered pockets to hold a phone, keys, and gloves.
This small square tote reminds me of a bag I had in the '90s, so it gave me a cozy sense of nostalgia as soon as I saw it. Made of faux fur, the tote comes in a violet mist color that's perfect for winter. I love that the bag has handles for carrying in your hands, but also comes with removable straps if you want to sling it over your shoulder. Despite its small size, the tote is quite roomy on the inside and has an interior zip pocket.
How could I not add these Nutcracker party glasses to my cart? The glasses are decorated with colorful Nutcrackers wearing pink, blue, and green. While they would make great cocktail glasses for a party, they're just as useful for adorning a bar cart or countertop to add some holiday cheer.
I'm a big fan of matching my winter hat and gloves, so this beanie set is a must. The red gold color is perfect for the holidays and to stand out when taking snowy winter walks. The set easily pairs with any coat color but would look especially gorgeous with darker hues like black or forest green.
I can't leave these Annie pom pom flats behind. The glittery dark raspberry flats are perfect for holiday parties and, because they're so bright, can even be the focal point of an outfit. They would pair well with a black dress, or I could see them with a glittery gold ensemble for New Year's Eve.
I have never owned a seasonal handbag, but this "Oh What Fun" toy store crossbody may change that. The bag looks just like a holiday toy store, complete with wrapped presents in the windows, a green wreath on the door, and a "Kate's Toy Shop" sign. The "roof" of the bag opens to reveal enough space to store a phone, wallet, keys, and more, and because it's 8.4 inches tall, it can easily hold a long wallet.
As a big fan of holiday PJs, I can't pass up these Nutcracker jogger pajamas for 45 percent off. Featuring the same Nutcrackers as the glasses I already added to my cart, the pajamas are made of jersey and polyester and look incredibly soft and cozy. The set includes a long-sleeve top and pants for $49.
I adore this boxed bracelet set that will be both a gift for a friend and myself. I'll be using the set, which is $49 for two bracelets, as an upgraded version of the friendship bracelets we already have, with both of us keeping one. The bracelets are made of gold-plated metal with an adjustable slide closure. My only problem now is deciding which one to keep!
