A Mexican restaurant in Clifton is closing its doors after 25 years of business.Habanero on Ludlow announced they will be closing after 25 years.The owner said they made the difficult decision not to renew the lease on the restaurant.Their last day was on Dec. 21."The past 25 years have been unbelievably wonderful and fantastic, exceeding my wildest dream when I opened in 1999, it's been a great run," the owner said in a post on the restaurant window.The owner said they will be focusing their efforts on re-opening and re-branding of "mad Monks pizza and Taproom in Mason inside the former 16 Lots Brewery. They hope to have it open in early 2025.
