Prince Harry returns to UK to speed up reconciliation efforts
Prince Harry has the opportunity to reconnect with the royal family by undertaking a crucial task during his potential meeting with King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex is returning to his homeland, the UK, in order to appear at the 2025 WellChild Awards today, September 8. He will also be travelling to Nottingham for a meaningful job.
But the royal fans are keeping an eye on the much-anticipated reunion between the father and son, which, as per the royal experts, might be on the cards, especially after their aides' peace talks.
Harry has been advised to win back the King's trust after a series of public attacks on the firm.
Royal commentator, Tom Bower, said, "The hurdle Harry is facing is huge, to somehow persuade his father that what he did is in the past."
As per Daily Mirror, he added, "I think he will be too stubborn to apologise, because that's not what he believes, he thinks he has behaved correctly. He simply doesn't realise the consequences of what he has done."
Tom also shed light on King Charles' feelings towards Harry. He said that the King will ask himself, "'Can I trust my son?'"
Speaking of Harry's side, the expert said, "...he will be focused on persuading his father he can be trusted, because he has to find a way back into Britain."
Tom also stated that the reconciliation between the royal family and Prince Harry is far from complete, even if a meeting occurs.
