The Triangle Parade of Homes, known as North Carolina's largest open house, has returned this year with more than 240 homes open to the public.
The two county sections for the parade, Raleigh-Wake County (RW) and Durham, Orange and Chatham County (DOC) are both headed by their home builders' associations.
With the homes prices ranging from $275k to $5.3M, there's truly something for everyone.
"Whether you're a serious homebuyer or someone just looking for the latest trends and styles, even floor plan ideas, the great thing about the parade is there is a little bit for everyone,." said Paul Kane, executive vice president and CEO of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County.
Each home offers a unique design style, displaying some current trends found in the interior design world.
Some of the design trends happening in homes are work-at-home spaces, usable outdoor spaces, and use of dark colors.
Kane wants first -time buyers to know there is something for them in the Parade of Homes.
"In the past new homes typically cost more than existing homes. In recent years, there aren't as many existing homes for sale." says Kane. "Existing home prices per square foot now are either the same or a bit more than new homes."
For those looking to buy, Chatham Park and Wendell Falls are both up and coming neighborhoods with a lot of housing shapes, types and styles.
If you are planning to attend the parade, go onto the website, https://triangleparade.com/ to see the full list of homes. On the site you can choose homes to add to your tour and once you have all the desired homes added, you can get the Google maps directions of the best route.
