Roanoke-Benson High School held Peru St. Bede in check over the final eight minutes on Thursday to claim a 45-27 Tri-County Conference girls basketball victory at Abbot Vincent Gymnasium.
In other contests, the Rockets routed guest Ridgeview, 44-15, Saturday at Dick Broers Gymnasium. Brianna Harms (17) and Jordyn Tomlinson (10) were the high scorers.
Behind 22 points from Harms, Roanoke-Benson defeated league foe Dwight, 52-32, Monday night at DBG.

The Rockets (17-3, 8-1) limited the Bruins to one field goal in the fourth quarter to build on a 32-25 lead. Harms led all scorers with 19 points.
Roanoke-Benson entertains TCC rival Putnam County this evening at 6:45 from DBG.
Notes: Henry surprised guest Seneca 51-42 on Monday, which moves Roanoke-Benson into sole possession of first in the conference ... The Rockets host Fieldcrest on Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. from DBG. This is a reschedule from the Nov. 26 game that was postponed.
