Nuisance properties, interlocal agreement among Broken Bow City Council agenda items

Broken Bow City Council will meet tonight at the Broken Bow Municipal Building starting at 6 PM.

Public hearings and then courses of action regarding two nuisance properties in Broken Bow are on the agenda. Addresses of concern are 118 South 15th Avenue and 139 South 14th Avenue.

City Council will have the consideration of partnering with the Broken Bow Library Foundation for the Broken Bow Story Walk at Melham Park during tonight's meeting. The program combines reading and the outdoors, while promoting early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature.

Anna Martin is expected to present the annual Broken Bow Housing Authority report, and council will have consideration of approving the request of waiter of PILOT funds.

Resolution 2024-13 will be up for consideration tonight, an agreement between the City of Broken Bow and the League Association of Risk Management for insurance coverage. An interlocal agreement with the League Association of Risk Management will also follow for consideration.

To close new business in tonight's meeting, council will have consideration of approving the appointment of the Emergency Services Department Head.
