New Year's hangover got you down? Well, if that happens to be the case, we regret to inform you that this peculiar performance by Nina Hagen from 1979 probably won't help on that front. Haven said that it's still a pretty captivating operatically gothy performance, to say the least...not to mention distinctly animated, bizarre, and kind of hilarious (not sure how else to describe her chicken-balking at the end of the performance). Call it what you will, but if you're looking to get your 2025 started out on a decidedly weird note, look no further. Happy New Year:
