Every instructor at USU faces unique challenges, especially when teaching information literacy and research skills. Librarians often enter the classroom without previous engagement with students in that class, and they may be asked to tackle major learning outcomes in a very short time. Expectations regarding their expertise and role in the classroom can be unclear. Understanding this context can help librarians build stronger partnerships as they support you and your students. Librarians are uniquely positioned to support student learning and success through collaborative partnerships with instructors across all disciplines. This session will feature ways to make the most of library partnerships and resources, explore the variety of teaching models available, and delve into the strategies library instructors employ to ensure the best possible instruction for students.
