Rodgers On Garrett/Davante Adams Duo: 'Pick Your Poison!'

As we saw against the Houston Texans in a 21-13 win, the New York Jets offense can be extremely dangerous when Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson are both making plays.

With the Jets' season on life support, Adams had seven catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, while Wilson had nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns, as the offense showed its first real signs of life in over a month.

Now that New York has some confidence on offense after what could be described as a near-perfect second half against the Texans with three drives, all ending in touchdowns, Rodgers knows the benefits of having his two main weapons firing at the same time.

"Well it starts with protection, so we got to be able to protect it up front, but once we do that, teams got to figure out what they want to do," Rodgers said. "It's hard to double both guys, but if you do that's opportunities for everybody else. Those guys are about dynamic players, and it's pick your poison."

With Adams and Wilson taking much of the focus, others like Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert, Xavier Gipson, Malachi Corley, and running backs Breece Hall and Braelon Allen can feast.

But if defenses don't pay close enough attention to Wilson and Adams, the pair can combine for maximum damage, as they did against Houston.

So that is the delicate balancing act defenses will have to play against the Jets moving forward, with the only thing holding New York back being themselves.

But confidence breeds confidence, and a Jets offense with weapons everywhere is a dangerous proposition -- especially when their season is on the line.
