Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Aren't Happy About Playlist Changes
The Bard is one of the many craftspeople players can unlock in Enshrouded, and unlike the others, her specialty is entertainment. From her, you can unlock a variety of instruments that you and your friends can play, livening up the atmosphere in your base.

This NPC is part of the Follow the Melody quest, which becomes available after reaching level 12 and unlocking the Revelwood Ancient Spire. The Bard can craft some useful and novel items, and while isn't that high of a rescue priority, she still needs to be saved if you want to get all the craftspeople in Enshrouded. Here's how to reach her.

How to Open the Bard Ancient Vault in Enshrouded
The Ancient Vault containing the Bard is deep within the Blackmire, a region designed for level 13-15 players. Before venturing here, make sure to bring the best gear you can craft, and if possible, try to bring an upgraded Glider. Don't worry about the vault's location, a quest marker will guide you there.

The Bard is located inside the central building in the Ancient Vault's vicinity, and to get to her, you need to activate a number of switches hidden nearby. For this little expedition, we strongly recommend unlocking the Double Jump skill from the Survivor tree. It's one of the best skills to get first in Enshrouded, especially since you'll be doing a lot of traversal in this game.
You can tell where the switches are by looking for lit braziers across the Sunken City.
The First Switch
✕ Remove Ads
You can find the first switch in the large ruins directly south of the Ancient Vault building. You can get here either by gliding to it from the Blackmire spire, or by following the intended path below the ruined building itself. Use Double Jump and your Grappling Hook to traverse the path, and head to the balcony looking over the Ancient Vault building to find the switch.
The Second Switch
Close
Starting from the first switch, look to your left to find another ruined building next to a tree. Glide toward that tree, and use its roots to reach the roof of the building's first floor. Then, you can use this root to reach the upper floor -- from there, drop down to the point marked in the second image above to find the switch. Alternatively, you can go inside the building and brave the many angry flowers inside to reach a trampoline that leads to the switch.

Reaching the rooftops of the ruined buildings in this area may be hard to do for players without the Ghost Glider in Enshrouded . If you can't make it to the rooftops, you'll have to go the long way around by navigating the lower floors of the buildings.
The Third Switch
Close
From the second switch, face the nearby trampoline, then look for this ruined building to the left. Use the trampoline to launch yourself into the air, then glide towards that building. Again, you'll land on the roof -- from your landing spot, go to the left side to find a crumbled wall that you can jump over. Head over there, jump over the gap on the floor, then just follow the path leading to the switch.

Unlocking the Bard
After opening all three switches, head on over to the Ancient Vault. All the gates should now be open. Head inside, then go down the long staircase. Open the final gate, and you'll find the Bard slumbering inside. She can craft a variety of musical instruments and home decorations, but more importantly, she can craft Medium and Large Backpacks.
