Fayetteville's boys golf team shot a 2-over 286 to win the River Valley Invitational held Thursday at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Alma.
Bentonville carded a 292, followed by Fort Smith Southside 307, Rogers 313, Springdale Har-Ber 315, Bentonville West 316 and Rogers Heritage 340, while Fort Smith Northside and Springdale did not field team scores.
Fayetteville's Hunt Gilbert shot a 3-under 68 to lead the Purple'Dogs, while teammate Sam Patterson and Rogers' Clancy Hardin each shot even 71.
Bentonville's Zachary Carter and Bentonville West's Carson Lindsey each shot 72 to tie for fourth. Fort Smith Southside's pair of Drew Hunter and Dakota King each shot 73, as did Fayetteville's Lawson McClure and Bentonville's Renshaw Aicklen and Jack Bennett to round out the Top 10.
Rogers won the girls match with a 31-over 241. Bentonville was second at 255, followed by Fayetteville 265, Springdale Har-Ber 276, Bentonville West 299, Rogers Heritage 304 and Fort Smith Southside 315.
Anna Scudder of Rogers was the medalist with a 7-over 77, followed by Bentonville West's Tatum Potts at 78 and Rogers Heritage's Ava Henshaw 79.
Rogers' Avery Allen shot 80, while Bentonville's Grace Abbruzzese shot 81, Rogers' Elizabeth Scudder 84, Bentonville's Abbey Hendricks and Fayetteville's Blake Grammer each at 85, Rogers' Kate Scudder at 87 and Bentonville's Luciana Suarez 89 to round out the top 10.
