The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, Oktoberfest and Halloween festivities are on this weekend's agenda. To see what's in store for the fall season, check out the annual Chattanooga Times Free Press fall festival guide. Otherwise, here's this weekend's chronology.

ARTS

-- Photographic Society of Chattanooga continues its autumn show at the Gallery at Blackwell, 71 Eastgate Loop. Society members will have their works on display and available for purchase. Gallery hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The autumn show will run through Dec. 6. Learn more at chattanoogaphoto.org.

-- In-Town Gallery, 26A Frazier Ave., continues its exhibition, "Cuttin' Up," featuring metal sculpture works by Denice Bizot. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. The exhibition will run through Oct. 30. Learn more at intowngallery.com.

-- Area 61 Gallery, 721 Broad St., continues its exhibition, "The Faces/Phases of Rick Sanders." Gallery hours are noon-6 p.m. Monday, Thursday-Sunday. The exhibition will run through November. Learn more at area61gallery.com.

-- ClearStory Arts, 1673 S. Holtzclaw Ave., continues its exhibition, "Inky October," featuring ink-based works by local artists. Gallery hours are by appointment Tuesday-Friday. The exhibition will run through Oct. 26. Learn more at clearstoryarts.com.

-- Association for Visual Arts, 30 Frazier Ave., continues two exhibitions. In the Main Gallery, there is a solo exhibition of works by Maria Willison. In the Landis Gallery, there is a collaboration with the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, noon-6 p.m. Friday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. -- Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View, will host two events going into the weekend. At 6 p.m. Thursday, there will be Vision and Verse, held in partnership with Chattanooga Hip Hop Week, featuring a blend of dance, verse and music in a celebration of the museum's current exhibition, "City as Canvas." It is a free event. At 6 p.m. Saturday, there will be Art After Dark, a teen-only event at the downtown Chattanooga Public Library, 1001 Broad St. Art After Dark features art-making led by the museum, snacks and exclusive after-hours access to the library. COMEDY

-- Jenna Kim Jones will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave. Tickets cost $25. Learn more at barkinglegs.org.

MUSIC

-- Chattanooga Hip Hop Week continues through Sunday with events at various locations throughout the city. Events include a museum pop-up, performances, discussions and more. For a complete schedule, visit chattanoogahiphopweek.com.

-- Chattanooga Symphony and Opera will present a pop-up performance and three free family concerts inspired by "The Little Engine That Could" this weekend. At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, small ensembles from the symphony will perform at the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts' temporary location, 412 E. Second St. Tickets cost $35 and include admission to the museum. The family concerts will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the East Lake duck pond, 3000 E. 34th St., at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Soddy-Daisy round gym, 10848 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Chattanooga Choo Choo's garden, 1400 Market St. While the family concerts are free, ticket reservations are appreciated. -- Barrelhouse Ballroom, 1501 Long St., will have multiple shows this weekend. At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, there will be the Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots tour with Tvboo. Tickets cost $25-$35. At 8 p.m. Friday, Peachtree Entertainment will present Ty Myers. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 the day of show. At 1 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Five Wits Brewing Co. and Barrelhouse Ballroom will present the Locals Only Music Festival, featuring more than a dozen local performers. Tickets cost $30-$150. -- Southern Adventist University will host two concerts going through the weekend. At 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Ackerman Auditorium of Mabel Wood Hall on the university's campus, 4881 Taylor Circle, Collegedale, Australian guitarists Ziggy and Miles will perform. Admission is free for Southern students, faculty and staff and $10 for everyone else. At 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists, 4829 College Drive E., the university's wind symphony will perform "Songs for All Seasons." The concert is free. -- The Signal, 21 Choo Choo Ave., will host "The Taylor Party," a Taylor Swift dance party for those 18 and older, at 9 p.m. Friday. Tickets cost $20-$40. Learn more at thesignaltn.com.

-- Chattanooga Music Club will present a chamber concert by the Ashton Family at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 N. Moore Road. The ensemble is led by J. OUT & ABOUT

-- Friends of Special Children will host its 19th annual All About the Children event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Signal Centers, 109 N. Germantown Road. There will be dinner, drinks, a live auction and golden ticket drawings. This year's goal is to raise funds to build an inclusive adventure trail on Signal Centers' campus. Tickets cost $75. -- Dread Hollow, 321 Browns Ferry Road, continues for the Halloween season with this year's theme, "Vengeance," featuring three new haunted houses and three separately ticketed escape rooms. Operating hours are 8-10 p.m. Thursdays, 8-11 p.m. Fridays, 7-11 p.m. Saturdays and 7-10 p.m. Sundays. General admission costs $25. The attraction will run through Nov. 1. -- Chattanooga Motorcar Festival will be from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday in the area surrounding the Westin Hotel, 801 Pine St. The annual festival will feature a variety of cars, celebrity appearances, panel discussions, live music, auctions and more. -- Chattanooga Department of Community Development invites the community to attend local fall festivals at several community centers this weekend. From 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the John A. Patten Community Center, 3202 Kellys Ferry Road, there will be Harry Potter Halloween, featuring family fun, a photo booth, games and more. Costumes are welcomed. From noon-4 p.m. Saturday at the East Lake Community Center, 3610 Dodds Ave., there will be a fall festival, featuring food trucks, games, music and more. From 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carver Community Center, 600 N. Orchard Knob Ave., there will be a fall festival, featuring games, candy and food. Costumes are welcome. -- Halloween Trail Fest will be from 6-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday at Enterprise South Nature Park, 190 Still Hollow Loop. The haunted trail is 2 miles with scare actors, special effects and more. The haunted trail is not recommended for small children. There will be a glow trail, and there will be "Too Cute to Spook" trick-or-treating for ages 10 and under from 6-8 p.m. Admission costs $12 for those 13 and older and $7 for ages 4-12, and children 3 and under get in free. -- Ringgold Downtown Development Authority will present the Ringgold Haunted Depot from 7-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday at the Ringgold Depot, 155 Depot St., Ringgold. There will be a haunted house, hayrides, ghost tours, live music and more. Admission is $15, and there are additional costs for other activities. -- Ronald McDonald House Charities will host its fifth annual Run4Kids with registration beginning at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Chattanooga State Community College, 4501 Amnicola Highway. The event will include a 5K and 1-mile fun run as well as a 40-yard dash featuring local mascots. Registration costs $15-$25. -- Signal Mountain Police and Fire departments will host a free car seat safety check from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Pruett's Market, 1210 Taft Highway, Signal Mountain. Participants should bring their car seat and child to have a certified child passenger safety technician assist with proper installation and guidance on use of child safety seats and boosters. -- Hocus Pocus Fall Market will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Camp Jordan, 323 Camp Jordan Parkway, East Ridge. There will be a variety of vendors, food, inflatables, free pictures with the Sanderson Sisters from the film "Hocus Pocus" and more. Costumes are welcomed. -- New Salem Mountain Festival will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the New Salem Community Center, 12477 Highway 136, Lookout Mountain, Ga. There will be a variety of artists and crafters, a gallery featuring some of the best works from each exhibitor, food and live entertainment. Admission is $8, and children 11 and under get in free. -- Chattanooga Market will host Oktoberfest from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at First Horizon Pavilion, 1801 Reggie White Blvd. There will be live entertainment, local vendors, chicken dancing, German-inspired foods, a beer garden and more. -- Scenic City Shakespeare will present its production of "Macbeth" with shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday at Greenway Farm Park, 3008 Hamill Road.
