Trevor Clark, 32, recently was convicted of assault and breaching bail and got a 131-day sentence. Defence lawyer Robert McFadden, who's known him for some time, told the judge in this latest case his client has a learning disability.
"He can best be described as probably a 15-year-old boy in a 32-year-old body," he said. "A lot of his actions are very compulsive. He has problems thinking through things before he acts and that's brought him before the court on a number of occasions."
Clark gained notoriety around Sarnia for an incident about three years ago. He was arrested around noon on Sept. 26, 2021, after he got out of a stolen white pickup that'd been involved in five hit-and-run crashes at a pedestrian crosswalk on Exmouth Street and ran down the Howard Watson Trail.
