The San Antonio Spurs (6-7) will take on the Dallas Mavericks (5-7) on Saturday night. the Spurs dropped a game on Friday to the Los Angeles Lakers, but have won in the second half of both of their back-to-backs this season. Dallas, meanwhile has lost four straight games and desperately needs to right the ship.
In the season opener, the Spurs fell, 120-109 to the Mavs, but this Dallas team has looked drastically different than they did early on. All four of the Mavs' recent losses have been decided by a single possession, so the Spurs just need to hang around to make things interesting.

After a slow start to the season, Victor Wembanyama has seemingly found his stride, averaging 29.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks over his last five games. Against Dallas in the opener, he was a much worse version of himself, so there is a chance he will be able to dominate the game early for the Spurs.
