While it seems unlikely he'll be activated from the non-football injury (NFI) list ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, his return to the practice field has provided an emotional boost for the team.
Running back Jordan Mason, who suffered an AC joint sprain in last week's win over the Seattle Seahawks, was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. However, his inclusion in Monday's and Wednesday's practices bodes well for his chances of being available this weekend.
