PELHAM -- The Pelham School District is celebrating the reopening of Pelham Memorial School at noon on Saturday.
The $32 million renovation and upgrade of the middle school began during the pandemic.
Field Hockey Fall Clinic
PLAISTOW -- Timberlane Regional High School is holding the last of four field hockey clinics this fall from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday.
There is a $40 registration fee for students to play with and learn from high school athletes. If an athlete needs a stick or has questions ahead of the clinics, email head coach Jessi Paul at jessica.paul@timberlane.net.

ATKINSON -- Mary Ann Eldred paintings will be available for display at the Kimball Library for the remainder of September.
Her work life primarily focuses on the New England landscape, though she loves to work on still life and wildlife paintings from time to time. She began painting in 1989.
Breast cancer fundraiser
PLAISTOW -- Ginger Roots Salon is hosting an Ink4pink! fundraiser on Sept. 30, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., to provide financial assistance to breast cancer survivors.
The salon, 207 Main St., is offering permanent jewelry by Gem Beauty, Botox injections by Let's Tox Beauty, raffle tickets, food and drinks and extension services.
Call for trash & recycling committee members
PLAISTOW -- The town's newest Trash & Recycling Committee is looking for members.
The Board of Selectmen is creating a subcommittee to assist with the development of the next request for proposal for solid waste removal. The request for proposal should be ready in the spring 2025.
If interested, send an email of interest to bhossack@plaistow.com or stop by the selectmen's office in the Town Hall. The town will select two residents to be part of the committee
Inquiries need to be made by Sept. 30 at 4 p.m.
Atkinson seeks bids on projects
ATKINSON -- The town is seeking bids, RFPs and proposals for a series of town projects and services through next year.
Proposals for lawn fertilization services at town athletic fields and properties must be mailed to the Selectmen's Office, 19 Academy Ave., labeled "2025-004 Fertilization Services," by noon on Oct. 2.
The town is also requesting proposals to start a mosquito larviciding program, deck/dock construction in the Slade Town Forest and line painting on town roads.
