Carter Chadwick, Cruz Ferguson and newly acquired Ryan VanNetten scored their first goals as Maroons in front of 447 fans at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre in St. Catharines.
Noah Mathieson, Cameron Graham, Brody Gillis and Liam Campbell also scored in the second straight win for the Maroons (3-3-0-0) in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
VanNetten had a three-point game in his debut with the Maroons. The 20-year-old defenceman from Simcoe spent the last two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Niagara IceDogs.
Mathieson and Chadwick scored their first goals of the season for a 2-0 lead at the first intermission.
Ferguson and Graham doubled the lead early in the second frame. Graham has five goals, one fewer than the GOJHL leaders.
