Supermarket chain Iceland is offering discounts this Christmas by trying to support people over 60. The supermarket is aiming to specifically cater to the needs of older customers by offering them a 10% discount on their groceries.
The frozen food giant says those over the age of 60 can save 10% on their shopping every Tuesday without a minimum spend at Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores. To take up the offer, all that the eligible shoppers need to do is present a valid proof of age, such as a Senior Bus pass, Driver's Licence, Senior Railcard, or Freedom Pass.
Iceland's managing director, Richard Walker, said: "We are so pleased with how well the over 60s discount has been received by the public and love hearing stories from customers who are benefiting from the discount."
He also highlighted their commitment to supporting older shoppers during challenging financial times, saying: "The cost of living crisis continues to cause distress in the everyday lives of these customers and that's why we want to keep doing what we can to support them," reports Cambridgeshire Live.

Iceland say: "The good news is, there is no end date! The Iceland over 60s discount end date is... until further notice. Iceland launched the scheme in May 2022, as the first supermarket to offer older shoppers a once weekly discount to help them navigate the cost of living crisis.
