Voters make curious move with Iowa in latest Women's Basketball Coaches Poll

Following two impressive victories over Minnesota and Nebraska to close out Week 15 of the women's college basketball season on a five-game winning streak, the Iowa Hawkeyes (17-7, 7-6 Big Ten) shockingly didn't receive a single vote in the latest USA TODAY Sports women's basketball coaches poll.

The Hawkeyes were among the teams receiving votes outside the top 25 programs in Week 14, earning 16 points last week.

Despite the Hawkeyes' mysterious disappearance from the polls this week, they will have ample opportunities to vault themselves back into the conversation. They will play Rutgers on Thursday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and then travel to Columbus, Ohio, for a Monday morning clash with Ohio State.

As for how the rest of the Big Ten fared in this week's release, UCLA remains atop the rankings for an 11th consecutive week as the nation's No. 1 team. Following the Bruins are No. 6 USC, No. 8 Ohio State, No. 15 Maryland, and No. 22 Michigan State.

Michigan is the lone Big Ten program receiving votes outside the top 25 this week.

Below is how the full USA TODAY Sports women's basketball coaches poll appears.
