The first month of the new season is over and Leicester City have not yet had a summer signing on the pitch.
But that could all change at Oxford United next Saturday, when all three of City's deadline-day recruits will be in contention to start.
Aaron Ramsey is perhaps the most likely to come into the City 11. The Burnley loanee is expected to play as an attacking midfielder this season, in the position vacated by Bilal El Khannouss and that has been occupied by Louis Page in the past couple of matches.
Page, who only turned 17 two months ago, is still getting up to speed with the senior game, and so Ramsey would be the favourite of the two to start, especially as he is not on international duty and so can get to grips with Marti Cifuentes' style over the next week.
New striker Julian Carranza also has a shot at starting at the Kassam Stadium, albeit has greater competition for his role.
Carranza's high-pressing game is exactly what Cifuentes wants, but the manager has been happy with Jordan Ayew's contribution over the opening weeks of the season, and so it's an even battle between the pair for the striker role.
Jordan James can play in a number of midfield positions but sees himself operating in a box-to-box role, which would mean he's a rival to Oliver Skipp for a place in the 11.
With James on Wales duty and not due to train with his new team until later next week, he is the least likely of the signings to make it into the line-up.
But Cifuentes may be watching closely when Wales play Canada on Tuesday and if James delivers what he's looking for, he could come straight into the team.
There are further changes possible for when City return to action. Hamza Choudhury has missed Bangladesh duty with an injury and so Ricardo Pereira could make his first start of the season at right-back.
And while there is still an opportunity for Wout Faes and Harry Winks to leave to one of the European transfer markets that remains open, that they're here beyond most countries' deadline days may mean they become more prominent in Cifuentes' plans.
Faes will be vying with Caleb Okoli for a place in the team at centre-back, while Winks' rival for a spot in the midfield is Boubakary Soumare, albeit the Frenchman has played every minute under Cifuentes so far.
If Choudhury is fit, then Cifuentes could have 28 first-team players to choose from, with just Victor Kristiansen and Harry Souttar unavailable.
