Nationally recognized influencer and comedian Nurse Blake will bring his Shock Advised Tour to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre for two shows Saturday, Nov. 9.

A limited number of tickets remain for the 4 p.m. show. Tickets are $59 for main floor and lower balcony, and $49 for upper balcony seating, plus taxes and fees. A separate VIP experience is also available. The show is recommended for audience members 16 and older for strong language and mature content. Nurse Blake is a nurse, creator, advocate, touring comedian, and viral sensation. From an early age, Nurse Blake knew he wanted to be an RN and started working as a patient transporter at 17. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2014. He started Banned4Life to end the permanent FDA gay blood ban, which ultimately contributed to the lifetime ban being lifted in 2015. Driven by an intense desire to effect meaningful change in health care, Nurse Blake's commitment extends beyond policy work. He shares his personal narrative with remarkable candor, embodying transparency and courage.
Immediately after graduating, he jumped right into what he thought would be his forever career, working in level 1 trauma centers around the country in a variety of nursing roles. His interest in social media had developed during school, and would shift his career 180 degrees. He has connected nurses and nursing students together from around the world, currently entertaining nearly 4 million followers on social media. Fans worldwide know Nurse Blake from his viral videos to comedy stages around the world, bringing nurses together through his humor and inspiration.
