Round table on customer retention set for Oct. 30 in Farmingdale | Long Island Business News

Retaining customers can assist companies in boosting profits, and an upcoming roundtable is designed to address how deploying artificial intelligence can help in that effort.

The discussion, "The New Loyalty Equation: Unlocking CRM and Retention in the Age of AI," hosted by Melville-based The EGC Group with Intuit Mailchimp, is slated for Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 8-10 a.m. at the Heritage Club at Bethpage in Farmingdale.

Experts from EGC and Mailchimp will share insights and guidance as to how AI can enhance customer loyalty and engagement. The approach can lead to higher conversion rates, increased customer lifetime value and enhanced revenue. Selling to existing clients can be more effective than selling to new customers. And the cost of keeping existing clients is typically less expensive than gaining new clients, according to EGC.

The roundtable discussion is open to the public, but registration is required. EGC clients will be given priority seating.
