The wait is over -- everyone's favorite cowboys and cowgirls are back as Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, premieres tonight on Paramount Network and CBS. Here's a breakdown of when new episodes will be available and what to expect during the final installment.
Created by Taylor Sheridan (Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown), Yellowstone is a modern-day Western that follows the Dutton family as they defend their massive Montana ranch from developers, political rivals, and other powerful adversaries. The series stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and more.
The first part of Season 5 premiered nearly two years ago, and fans have been anxiously waiting for the final chapter, especially given delays caused by the Hollywood strikes and drama with lead actor Kevin Costner. Paramount Network has since confirmed that this will be the series' last season -- although recently, there have been reports that stars Reilly (Beth Dutton) and Hauser (Rip Wheeler) are in talks to star in Season 6.
The final episodes of Yellowstone will pick up as Beth and Jamie Dutton's estranged relationship has reached a breaking point. Beth mentioned to her father that she wanted Jamie to go to the train station (aka get killed and thrown off a cliff), while Jamie told Sarah that he wanted to murder his sister and have her carry it out for him.
There's also a good chance that John Dutton's death is imminent in Part 2, especially after Costner confirmed that he was not returning for the final episodes. Despite this, director Christina Voros, who helmed the first six episodes, told The Hollywood Reporter that his character's "presence is integral" to the rest of the family.
"I think to say any more than that," she adds, "would potentially compromise all the work that went into redacting the scripts. But I think the reason people are wondering, 'Is he, isn't he? Where is he, where is he not?' is because he is the patriarch, and his presence is an essential component to the story. John Dutton is still central."

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, will be premiering on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network and 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
The second part of Yellowstone Season 5 will have six episodes. This means that the entire fifth season will have 14 episodes in total.
Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, will be airing on Paramount Network and CBS. New episodes of Season 5 will air first on its home channel at 8 p.m. ET before airing two hours later on CBS at 10 p.m. ET.
