BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) - An NYPD officer has admitted to making several prank calls to a man in Brooklyn who complained about police illegally parking their cars.
In one prank call, Officer Brendan Sullivan pretended to be a former lover. In another call, he made dolphin, sheep and seal noises.
The man who received the prank calls had previously called 311 to complain about illegally parked police cars, and the prank calls were retaliation.
Sullivan has agreed to forfeit 60 days of annual leave as punishment, worth about $24,000. He will also pay a $500 fine.
