Sheetz breaks ground on new $169M Ohio distribution facility

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Sheetz held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new distribution facility located in Findlay. This is Sheetz's third distribution center, alongside two other centers in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

This new building will house food preparation and distribution services, allowing Sheetz to grow further into Ohio and Michigan.

Projected to open in 2026, Sheetz anticipates this new facility to create over 700 new jobs over the next five years.

"We are excited about the new jobs this facility will bring to Findlay and Hancock County," said Sheetz President and CEO Travis Sheetz. "The support from local, county, and state leaders has been instrumental in making this project a reality. As we continue expanding across Ohio and Michigan, Findlay will be a key driver of our growth and future success."

Sheetz is a major Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain with over 100 storefronts in Ohio already. All locations are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
