In the last general election, there was only one county that had lower voter turnout than Jerome County. Legislative District 26, which includes Jerome County, has great candidates for the Idaho Legislature.
Laurie Lickley for Idaho Senate has a record of serving as an excellent legislator. She also has a very strong agriculture background and fights for issues facing that industry.
Mike Pohanka is an extremely well-qualified candidate for the Idaho House. He has years of business experience as well as many years in the education system while he taught at the College of Southern Idaho.
Jack Nelsen is an experienced legislator who brings education as well as small business and agriculture to the table.
Jerome, don't let these good candidates slip away because you simply didn't turn out the vote.
