One of two inmates who escaped from Blackburn Correctional Complex Nov. 3 has been apprehended.
Adam Ball was arrested Friday by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, according to the Fayette County Detention Center's website.
Ball, 38, of Russell Springs is facing a charge of second-degree escape, Fayette District Court records show. He is to be arraigned Tuesday.
Ball and another man, Bradley Cornwell, 40, of Georgetown, left the prison Sunday in a water truck, Kentucky State Police said.
Ball was serving a 14-year prison sentence for charges of complicity to theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment and criminal mischief, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
Cornwell was serving a 10-year prison sentence for charges of possession of a controlled substance, bail jumping, fleeing/evading police, criminal mischief and wanton endangerment, according to the corrections department.
Cornwell is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. His last known address was in Cynthiana, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
In announcing their escape, the sheriff's office said anyone who saw the men should not approach them but call 911.
