ARLINGTON -- The Eagles (14-5) advanced on a sweep over the Cougars (6-16) by set scores of 25-10, 25-23 and 25-22. Melissa Hadley and Audrey Marsh powered the Arlington offense, posting 22 kills and 22 assists, respectively. Adriana Rodriguez contributed 14 assists while Heather Wood and Emme Shaffer dominated defensively with 19 combined digs. Arlington will play at Lake Washington with a state berth on the line 7 p.m. Thursday. Individual stats were not reported for Bothell.

Mount Si 3, Jackson 0

SNOQUALMIE -- The Wildcats (12-9) kept their season alive with a comfortable win over the Timberwolves (10-8). Mount Si will play at Glacier Peak in a loser-out, winner-into-state matchup 7 p.m. Thursday.

Glacier Peak 3, Woodinville 0

SNOHOMISH -- The Grizzlies (17-3) avenged a 3-1 loss to Issaquah with a sweep over the Falcons (11-11). Glacier Peak will host Mount Si for a spot in the state tournament 7 p.m. Thursday.

EDMONDS -- The Warriors (15-3) overcame a two-set deficit to defeat the Stormrays (8-10) and advance in the district playoffs (21-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 15-11). Edmonds-Woodway was paced by Sawyer Hiatt's 21 kills and relied on Addy Pontak's 32 digs to power the comeback effort. Shorewood now needs two consecutive wins to reach state, and they will start against Everett 5 p.m. on Thursday at Stanwood High School. Edmonds-Woodway will play Snohomish later that day at 7 p.m. for a state berth. Individual stats were not reported for Shorewood.

Snohomish 3, Everett 1

SNOHOMISH -- The Panthers (11-5) defeated the Seagulls (8-10) in a back-and-forth affair (25-20, 23-25, 31-29, 25-17). Snohomish got a balanced performance from Heidi Chambers, who posted 17 kills and 16 digs. Defensively, Keira Beverford, Lauren Rice and Sawyer Mahler posted a combined 75 digs on the night. Meanwhile, Everett's Ava Urbanozo shined with 33 assists and 16 digs. The Seagulls will look to stay alive against Shorewood 5 p.m. Thursday at Stanwood High School. Snohomish will play for a shot at state against Edmonds-Woodway that evening at 7 p.m.

Lynnwood 3, Ferndale 2

LYNNWOOD -- The Royals (12-6) took down the Golden Eagles (11-8) in a fierce battle to advance (25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-8). Lynnwood's defense came up clutch, as Sammy Holmer (20 digs), Evangeline Sum (18 digs) and Makena Kaleo (18 digs) worked to keep their home floor clean all night. Ferndale will face Monroe in a loser-out matchup at Stanwood High School 5 p.m. Thursday. The win puts the Royals just a win away from state, as they will play at Stanwood 7 p.m. Thursday to advance. Individual stats were not reported for Ferndale.

Stanwood 3, Monroe 1

STANWOOD -- The top-seeded Spartans (12-3) beat the Bearcats (11-6) to advance in the district tournament by set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 21-25 and 25-23. Stanwood got a massive boost on both ends from Harper Neyens, who posted 17 kills and 18 digs. Addison Bowie set the Spartan offense up with 40 assists on the night while Lyla Henken and Whitney Longspaugh combined for 29 digs to keep Monroe off the board. Monroe will now need two wins to advance to state, starting with a matchup against Ferndale 5 p.m. Thursday at Stanwood High School. The Spartans will host Lynnwood 7 p.m. Thursday for a spot in the state tournament.

SILVERDALE -- The Cougars (13-5-3) soundly defeated the Hawks (8-11-1) in the opening round of state. The loss marked the end of Mountlake Terrace's season after they entered the tournament as the lowest seed following a remarkable 5-2-0 stretch in their last seven outings to reach state. Central Kitsap will advance to face Oak Harbor in the second round 7 p.m. Saturday.
