Santos was busy at the trade deadline last week, but he didn't make a move in net. He's happy with Gannon Hunter and Sammy DiBlasi back there.
"A lot of talk has been, 'Can two 17-year-olds carry you to a Sutherland Cup?'" Santos said. "Talking to the leadership group, talking to our staff, we have high hopes and high belief in these two 17-year-old goaltenders.
"I think they compete, they battle very hard and I think they can get it done. That's why you didn't see us make a trade for a goalie."
DiBlasi has been sidelined with an injury for the past month, leaving Hunter to handle the workload by himself. He's met the challenge by posting a .950 save percentage in those six games while going 4-1-0-1.
