A SCHEME to build a new home in Lower Broadheath is the only item on the agenda for a planning committee this week.
Malvern Hills District Council's northern area planning committee will consider an application for permission in principle for a property in the back garden of a house called Orotava in Broadheath Common.
Lower Broadheath Parish Council has objected to the plan, saying the property is in open country and the proposed access is across common land.
Worcestershire County Council's public rights of way team also objected, saying there is a public footpath on the site not referenced in the proposals.
Planning officers have recommended the plans for approval but the decision will be in the hands of councillors.
