A woman later pronounced dead, was transported to the hospital in Troy by a U-Haul, police say.
Troy police say "Details are limited as we are in the early stages." The assistance chief of police confirmed officers responded to Samaritan Hospital at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, after receiving a report of a deceased female that had been transported by a male using a U-Haul vehicle.
According to police, the male lives in close proximity to Samaritan Hospital and observed the female having a medical emergency at his residence. He called 911 and began transporting the female by the private vehicle to the hospital.
Police say, no obvious visible trauma was observed, and at this time there is no reason to believe there is any danger to others within our community. Troy Police Detectives are investigating.
