A two-vehicle collision occurred at McKenzie Road and 3rd Line near Hagersville at about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, September 13.
Police say the driver and passenger of one vehicle were taken to a trauma hospital with serious injuries. The passenger, a 22-year-old Hamilton resident succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
A 26-year-old Hamilton driver has been charges with dangerous operation causing death, and dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
