Bucs Break Scoring Drought But Trail 41-24 Against Ravens

Coming off an impressive bounce back win on the road, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers return home for a primetime matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. While both teams enter the game 4-2, the Bucs look to put an end to their opponent's four-game winning streak.

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay offense look to continue their hot start offensively with their quarterback ranking among the best in the NFL in several passing categories. Conversely, the Ravens pose one of the most feared rushing attacks in the league.

After a weekend where all three of their NFC South rivals took losses, the Bucs hope to create separation with another marquee win. However, a dominant 34-point swing changed the outlook of the game.

Trailing 34-10, the Bucs' defense finally came away with a big stop, recovering a fumble on a backward pass by Jackson. Zyon McCollum recovered the ball and rumbled into the end zone before the play was called back after the defensive back was ruled down.

Nonetheless, Mayfield and the Bucs' offense got out of their cold spell. The quarterback found Rachaad White 11 yards out for a score and a two-point conversion shrunk the deficit to a 34-18 margin.

But the Bucs' defense has simply no solution for the Ravens attack. Derrick Henry broke free for another big gain of 39 yards and would secure a 13-yard touchdown grab that moved the Ravens' lead to a 41-18 margin.

Baltimore has now totaled over 500 yards on offense, taking over this game since the second quarter.

Mayfield and the offense engineered another scoring drive, ending with a Bucky Irving run that would pull them within a 41-24 margin after a failed two-point conversion attempt.
