(Gray News) - Frozen taquitos sold nationwide at Aldi stores are recalled after people reported finding metal pieces inside.
The recall affects 25,000 pounds of Casa Mamita Chicken and Cheese Taquitos in the 20-ounce carton packages.
They have best-by dates of July 3, 2025, and Sept. 25, 2025.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service has received reports of metal pieces inside the taquitos. At least one person suffered a "dental injury" as a result of the contamination.
Aldi said the taquitos were sold at stores in 30 states and Washington, D.C.
Consumers should return the products or throw them away.
