The Muskegon Farmers Market is the second largest market in the state, behind Detroit's Eastern Market.
The current market structure sits where the old mall sat downtown before being demolished and sitting vacant for decades.
Winter market-goers can expect around 30 vendors indoors. Before showing up, they can check if their favorites are at the market with a new website, marketspread.com.
The market's popular youth program, Kids Power of Produce, will join the winter market for the first time this year.
Kids between ages of 3-13 who register on site will get $4 worth of tokens to spend on produce with farmers. The Kids Power of Produce program starts Jan. 11.
