'True Gentleman': Vicky Kaushal Fans Gush As He Helps Injured Rashmika Mandanna, During Chhaava Trailer Launch

Despite sustaining leg injury from the gym, actress Rashmika Mandanna showed netizens her dedication towards work by attending the trailer launch event of Chhaava on Wednesday evening. The actress, who was dressed in a red ethnic Anarkali, was seen walking with a lot of difficulty. Being the chivalrous person that he is, her co-star Vicky Kaushal rushed to help her as she climbed the few steps of the stage.

In the video released by celebrity paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Vicky is seen lending Rashmika a hand as she reaches near the stage. He makes sure to hold her as she struggles to walk because of her injured leg. The actor proceeds to hold her before she settles down a chair, besides producer Dinesh Vijan. Well, fans went gaga as soon as the video surfaced on the internet.

A section of the internet also express their embarrassment upon seeing the Animal actress hop on her uninjured leg rather than using walking stick. One said, "Why so dramatic to hop use a crutches a stick for support she's making her condition worse case like this she should seek support to help her." Talking about her injury, the 28-year-old actress had taken to her official social media handle to break the news. She had shared photos of her injured leg and revealed that she would be in "hop mode" for the next few weeks. She even apologised to the directors of her upcoming films Thama, Sikandar, and Kubera for delay in work.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, and Akshay Khanna as Aurangzeb. Adapted from Shivaju Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava, it tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is all set to release on February 14, 2025.
