Our Friday was another sunny day. Temperatures reached the upper 70s and even low 80s in some places. We will cool down tonight to those mid 50s with clear skies remaining.
Waking up on your Saturday morning, temperatures could start chilly in the low 50s, but we will quickly warm back to those upper 70s and have low 80s as our highs. Expect sunny skies to kick off your weekend. A Saturday in the fall means football down here in Alabama.
Alabama takes on South Carolina here at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. With an eleven am kick-off, we can expect temperatures to rise to that low 80 degree mark with those sunny skies continuing during the game. Auburn is off this week, however, Mississippi State takes on number five Georgia over in Athens. They will also have sunny skies but cooler temperatures. Their kick-off is 3:15pm, so right in the afternoon hours, but they're only expected to reach the upper 70s. Following the pattern, Saturday night cools back into the 50s with clear skies.
Sunday, expect that same clear pattern, however we will be seeing the mid to upper 80s in those afternoon hours, but fall like temperatures are on the way. Monday, we start cooling off by about 10 degrees, and then another 10 degrees by Tuesday. Our lows going into Wednesday dip down from the 50s into the 40s. Those lows remain in the 40s for the remainder of the week, but our highs jump back into the 70s by Thursday. There's a possibility of a few clouds early in the week, but clear skies and no chance of rain remain for the foreseeable future.
