Tennessee Titans veteran safety Quandre Diggs exited the team's game against the New England Patriots Sunday in the second quarter, favoring his left foot.
Diggs headed straight into the blue medical tent on the Titans' sideline, helped in by two of the Titans athletic trainers. He was quickly put on a cart and driven back to the locker room thereafter. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
Mike Brown replaced Diggs on the defense following his injury. Rookie Julius Wood is the only other reserve safety on the Titans' active roster beyond Brown. Starter Amani Hooker is playing Sunday despite spending the week on the injury report with a groin.
Diggs has been a regular starter for the Titans since he signed with the team during training camp. A three-time Pro Bowler formerly of the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions, Diggs amassed 21 tackles in the Titans' first four games.
