BELLEVILLE, MI - Led by one of the top recruiting prospects in the nation, Belleville football defeated Saline in district finals for the third straight year Friday night in a 42-7 blowout.
The Tigers' Bryce Underwood, whom many pundits rank as the top quarterback in his class, routed a Hornet squad led by Junior quarterback Tommy Carr. Underwood threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 63 yards and a touchdown.

In addition to the two high school's fanbases, the game drew hundreds of Michigan football fans who hoped that the Wolverines could pick up Underwood and Belleville WR/DB Elijah Dotson as recruits.
